DESCRIPTION:Soulful expression\, instrumental virtuosity\, playful banter – these are the hallmarks of an INTERSECTION event\, in which the realms of concert and popular music are seamlessly dovetailed. \nThe typical INTERSECTION program is an irresistible blend of classical\, jazz\, Latin\, Broadway/film music\, vital new commissions\, and the group’s own original compositions and arrangements. \nThe quintessential Intersection event is the trio concert\, with a varied program of repertoire from all parts of the music world. The \nThe evening’s program will cover a broad swath of classical and contemporary music\, with solos and duos woven into the variety of pieces they will perform for us. This will be an exceptional music experience for Fawn Lake in the hands of these amazing global celebrities. \nKristina Cooper\, Laura Frautschi and John Novacek have individually achieved enviable successes as soloists and chamber musicians in the world of classical music\, but each have effectively ventured beyond circumscribed artistic borders\, exploring new music\, world music\, jazz and pop. The uniqueness of the group is in tapping to the full these highly varied backgrounds\, in shows that seamlessly fuse the traditional and the surprising\, the premeditated and the improvisatory\, and of course their easy verbal interplay with each other and with the audience. An evening with Intersection is a virtual collaboration between artists and audience. \nFREE TICKETS for Kids\nA limited number of FREE tickets for children and grandchildren of PAFL members aged 12 to 21 who will attend this concert with them are also available on a first come\, first served basis. You are invited to join us for a post-performance party on Friday\, May 3rd at the newly renovated ‘93 Bar in the Harbor Club immediately following the Intersection Trio concert.  This will be a great opportunity to kick back and enjoy the company of Laura\, Kristina\, and John in a relaxed atmosphere. \nA tasty array of hors d’oeuvres will be served.  Cost is $36/person all inclusive.  Cash bar. \nDeadline is April 26. \nHope you can join us!
