Hang loose and come celebrate the 60’s with us as PAFL hosts a “Fun-raiser” on Friday, April 5, @ 7:00 pm in the Cove to support our club so that we can continue bringing the performing arts to Fawn Lake. Chill out and groove to the psychedelic sounds of our very own “Fawn Lake Jam Band” under the direction of Kevin McCarthy. Cash bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and dancing too! Can you dig it? This event is open to the entire Fawn Lake community. Reservation deadline is March 29.

Soulful expression, instrumental virtuosity, playful banter - these are the hallmarks of an INTERSECTION event, in which the realms of concert and popular music are seamlessly dovetailed. The typical INTERSECTION program is an irresistible blend of classical, jazz, Latin, Broadway/film music, vital new commissions, and the group's own original compositions and arrangements. The quintessential Intersection event is the trio concert, with a varied program of repertoire from all parts of the music world. The The evening's program will cover a broad swath of classical and contemporary music, with solos and duos woven into the variety of pieces they will perform for us. This will be an exceptional music experience for Fawn Lake in the hands of these amazing global celebrities. Kristina Cooper, Laura Frautschi and John Novacek have individually achieved enviable successes as soloists and chamber musicians in the world of classical music, but each have effectively ventured beyond circumscribed artistic borders, exploring new music, world music, jazz and pop. The uniqueness of the group is in tapping to the full these highly varied backgrounds, in shows that seamlessly fuse the traditional and the surprising, the premeditated and the improvisatory, and of course their easy verbal interplay with each other and with the audience. An evening with Intersection is a virtual collaboration between artists and audience.
